How we work
One niche. Three-week sprints. No lock-in.
We only work with car subscription operators.
Most software studios will work with anyone who'll pay them. We won't. We've made a deliberate choice to work in one category, because that's the only way to be genuinely useful in three weeks rather than three months.
When you hire us, you're not paying us to learn your business from scratch. We already know that overdue invoices are a category, not an edge case. We already know that Facebook Marketplace traffic behaves differently than paid search. We already know that your customers care more about cancellation friction than they do about the price on the homepage. The first conversation is shorter. The first sprint is faster. The work is better.
Why three weeks.
Three weeks is long enough to build something real and short enough that you don't lose interest. It's also short enough that we can quote firmly — fixed scope, fixed price, no surprises.

Thirty minutes, free. We figure out whether we can help and what the sprint should focus on.
We look at the relevant data and design the changes. You sign off before we build anything.
We ship to staging. You and your team review.
We ship to production, instrument the relevant metrics, and hand you a dashboard so you can see the impact in your own data.
After the sprint ends, we're available for a few hours of post-launch support included in the price. Beyond that, you can book us for follow-on work or take the code and run with it.
No lock-in. Your code in your repo.
We don't run a platform you have to subscribe to forever. We don't host the systems we build. We don't own your data, your code, or your customer relationship. Everything we build sits in your repos, runs on your infrastructure, and is yours to modify or replace at any time.
This costs us some recurring revenue we could otherwise charge for, and we think that's the right trade. Operators in your category have been burned enough by lock-in. We'd rather earn the next engagement than trap you in this one.
A small studio, on purpose.
Livery & Co is a small studio — currently a handful of people, with collaborators we bring in for specific work. Small means we can move fast, quote firmly, and do the work ourselves rather than handing it down a chain. It also means we take on a limited number of engagements at any one time, so booking ahead matters.
